Since the earliest days of the Ark, a highlight of the volunteer sessions has been to come back to a warm sausage and even warmer welcome from Val Lyon. Everyone's safe return was looked for and noted by a 'ticking off' in the Red Book, and she has presided over many hours of chat and laughter (and some complaints). Val has been the mother hen to a lot of very scruffy chicks!
Now has come the time to rest from these labours, so on Saturday 28th November some of Val's most regular clients gathered to show our appreciation for her support and friendship.
