The ground cover included old debris from earlier gardening. Note the shelter in the background, already looking at home amongst its surroundings.

Pierre and Sylvain display some ginger that won't be troubling the environment any more. Other discoveries of interest included a centipede, millipedes, and cicada larvae

Mike turned up bright and early with his trailer, loaded the day before with the plants. Here he is, moving the margin of the Ark out by another 2 metres!

There was a lot of mulch, but not quite as much as the view suggests. Perspective does do some interesting things.

Ark gateway

Bethells Beach resident, and painter Derek March is shown here with his decoration of what was previously a neglected bus shelter at the beginning of Falls Road. The surrounding area is being cleared of weeds and replanted, to produce a fitting gateway for the Ark.
