Kokako monitoring

Laurence Bechet is asking for Volunteers to help with Kokako monitoring starting Friday 28th May and continuing through June.

Telemetry monitoring is easy to learn and you can go individually or in pairs. Many of you already know how to do this. I will be making up a roster and the initial training session ( if needed ) will be this Sat 22nd at 9am. If you are unable to attend but keen then arrive on your first day an hour early to be instructed by Laurence

The routes to walk will be the new Fenceline/old Fenceline loop, and either in and out of Gleesons or Cutty Grass track - about 2 hrs for each route stopping to take telemetry readings along the way and then returning to the rangers station with the results

There will be 2 shifts each day starting from the rangers station 2-4 people from 9am to 11am from Sun 30th May to Wed 30th June 2-4 people from 1pm -3pm from Fri 28th May to Wed 30th of June

Please let me know what days you can come so I can set up a roster ASAP ,
