Next Day: Sunday 25th April

Hi All,

BAITING  STARTS ON SUN!

Please let me know if you can come

The Next Day is this Sun 25th meeting at the rangers station at 9.30am and we will be starting a full baiting in AN, P and B Block

Unfortunately this is Anzac Day but we will go ahead as we need to make a start. If you are new to baiting don't worry -you will be put with an experienced person

Owning a line.

Some of our volunteers ( 2 people per line) look after one or two lines which they do in their own time or on a volunteer day. If you want to 'own' a line or want to choose a line in advance ( or want me to choose one for you ) please let me know. Then you can sign in and get away quickly on the day

Bushcraft course

A comment from the ranger about the volunteers who attended the Bushcraft course last Sat

The group was great to deal with, a real pleasure to work with. I'll get back to you with another date to finish off the volunteers.

John Walsh

He suggested carrying an orange pack liner which I will check out

Wasps

The numbers fall off now with the cooler weather, but there are still a few around, and if you are allergic to wasp stings you should not come until mid May when they are usually no longer a problem

Bagging Bait

Ethne has indicated that she will bag all the bait, so no further help needed
