Hi All,
The Next Day is this Sun 14th meeting at the rangers station at 9.30am.
We have had a predator targeting the Rob Ridge robins and wish to make the ACW robins as safe as possible.
Therefore we will be doing a limited baiting around the golf course and ACW this weekend. These are mostly pleasant lines running from or across the golf course.
Let me know if you can come.
See the map below. Lines to do will be AN15,16,17,18 and extensions ( all near the breeding robins) , plus the ACW stations, B7, G and the swing bridge, B5 and B6, AN14 and B3 and B4 Sth
Wasps
We need to keep an eye out for wasps now -move slowly on dry ridges. There are antihistamine tabs at the rangers station, and they work better if taken before going out.
If someone is stung they should take a tab ASAP to stop the itch and swelling but it wont help the pain
Bicycle repair man needed!
A bicycle has been given to the Ark but needs some repairs/maintenance before it can be used. Is there someone with the skills to do this? The money saved by your help would be used for our next Kokako.
The bike needs: chain, rear derailer, couple of brake cables, general tune, checking tires (and fixing if needed).
We would of course reimburse the cost of parts.
